A complete breakdown of all fees on EventSplit — what you pay, when you pay it, and what you get.
EventSplit uses a simple two-part structure: a plan fee when you start (free for Starter), and an optional distribution fee when you use EventSplit to pay collaborators after the event. The price you see is what you pay — no hidden fees on top.
Plan Tiers
Starter — Free
Free for first-time and test organizers. Includes 1 event project (1 project per account), up to 2 collaborators, basic budget tracking, 1 offer template, a basic profit report, and 1 public poll. Starter plans do not include sponsor partnerships.
Pro — $49 (one-time)
For organizers ready to run a professional event with a full team. Includes 1 event project, up to 10 collaborators, advanced expense tracking with receipts, all offer templates, sponsorship package management, all agreement templates, a detailed profit report, unlimited polling, and priority email support.
Studio — $390 / year
For production companies and agencies managing events at scale. Includes unlimited event projects, unlimited collaborators, everything in Pro, white-label contracts and reports, a custom offer builder, advanced analytics, sponsor pipeline management, a dedicated account manager, and priority phone support.
Distribution Fee
When you use EventSplit to distribute payouts to collaborators via Stripe Connect after the event, a distribution fee is applied. The fee is deducted from your net profit first — collaborator shares are then calculated on the remainder.
Distribution fee rates by plan
Starter: 3% · Pro: 2% · Studio: 1%. The fee is only charged when you use EventSplit's built-in payout system. If you pay collaborators outside the platform, no distribution fee applies. The fee is shown transparently in the Final Report and disclosed to all collaborators before they sign any agreement.
Card Processing (Stripe)
When funding a distribution via card, Stripe applies 2.9% + CA$0.30 per transaction. This is a Stripe fee, not an EventSplit fee. We recommend connecting your Stripe account to receive payouts via bank transfer to avoid this charge. Collaborators without Stripe can add a bank account for direct ACH transfers.
Featured Listings
Organizers can pay for Featured Event placement on the Marketplace. This gives additional visibility but does not affect your Trust Score or the organic Recommended ranking. Contact support for current featured listing pricing.
What Collaborators Pay
Nothing. Collaborators use EventSplit for free. There are no fees for receiving offers, signing agreements, or viewing your payout details.
What Sponsors Pay
Sponsors use the Marketplace to browse and pitch to organizers. The actual sponsorship funds go directly to the organizer — EventSplit is not a party to that financial transaction.
