Welcome to EventSplit

A complete orientation to the platform — what it does, who it's for, and how to get your bearings.

EventSplit is a financial infrastructure platform built for independent event organizers. It helps you plan events, invite collaborators, manage expenses, attract sponsorships, and generate final profit reports — all in one place.

Demo Mode

If you're exploring with the demo account, all data shown is fictional. No real money is involved. You can see every feature in action before going live.

Three Roles on EventSplit

Every account on EventSplit has one of three roles. You can switch between views at any time using the role switcher in the top navigation bar.

  1. 1Organizer — You create and manage events. You set the budget, invite collaborators, manage expenses, and distribute profits after the event.
  2. 2Collaborator — You receive invites from organizers. You review the financial offer, sign the agreement, and track your expected payout.
  3. 3Sponsor — You browse the Marketplace for events seeking sponsorship, pitch packages, and track your deliverables.

Key Concepts

Events

An Event is the central unit on EventSplit. It holds the event details, budget, expenses, revenue records, collaborator offers, and sponsorships. Everything flows through the event.

Offers

An Offer is the formal financial proposal an organizer sends to a collaborator. It specifies the offer type (revenue share, fixed fee, or hybrid), the terms, and the deliverables expected. Offers become Agreements once both parties sign.

Trust Score

The Trust Score is a 0–100 transparency rating for organizers. It's calculated from event completion rates, expense transparency, report submissions, and collaborator ratings. A high Trust Score makes it easier to attract sponsors and collaborators.

Final Report

After the event, the organizer generates a Final Report showing all revenue, expenses, platform fees, and each collaborator's calculated payout. This report is shared with all parties before any money is distributed.

Navigating the Dashboard

The left sidebar is your primary navigation. It's organized by role and grouped by section — Events, Finance, and Tools for organizers. The top bar gives you quick access to search, notifications, and your profile.

Use the role switcher in the top bar to flip between your Organizer, Collaborator, and Sponsor views without logging out.
