The Sponsor's Guide
How to find events, pitch sponsorship packages, and what happens after your pitch is accepted.
The EventSplit Marketplace connects sponsors with independent event organizers across Canada. As a sponsor, you browse events, select packages, and pitch directly to organizers — with full financial transparency on every listing.
Finding Events
The Marketplace at eventsplit.ca/marketplace shows all events currently seeking sponsorship. You can filter by:
- Event type (Concert, Festival, Conference, Fashion Show, etc.).
- City.
- Sort by Recommended, Highest Trust Score, Most Funded, or Featured.
Each listing shows the event's Trust Score, funding progress, expected attendance, and available sponsorship packages. The Recommended ranking is based on Trust Score, funding momentum, and audience interest — never paid promotion.
Pay attention to the organizer's Trust Score. Sponsors who work with high-trust organizers (80+) report better communication, delivered deliverables, and timely reporting.
Pitching a Sponsorship
Click on a sponsorship package to begin a pitch. You'll choose the package, enter a message to the organizer, and submit your pitch directly.
No pitch fee
Submitting a pitch through the Marketplace is free. The sponsorship funds you commit go directly to the organizer — EventSplit is not a party to that financial transaction. Always review the sponsorship terms before committing funds.
After Your Pitch is Accepted
Once the organizer accepts your pitch, you'll receive a notification. From your Sponsor dashboard, you can:
- View the full sponsorship details and deliverables.
- Upload sponsor assets (logos, brand files, copy).
- Track deliverable status as the event approaches.
- Access the Final Report after the event.
After the Event
The organizer's Final Report includes sponsorship revenue as a separate line item. You'll receive access to the report, which gives you a transparent record of the event's financial performance — useful for evaluating ROI on future sponsorships.
EventSplit facilitates the connection between sponsors and organizers. All sponsorship agreements are between you and the organizer directly. Always review the terms before committing funds.
